It would at least partly explain why he wasn’t throwing the jab smoothly. He looked terrible in that fight, lumbering around the ring and walking into Wilder’s power shots in the 4th and 10th. He would have been in some serious trouble vs. Usyk or possibly even Joshua. He was very fortunate Wilder didn’t take his title back. If not for his top-notch recovery and chin, that fight could have been over several times.
