LAS VEGAS - Familiar officials have been assigned to the Canelo Alvarez-Caleb Plant fight Saturday night. BoxingScene.com has confirmed that the Nevada State Athletic Commission has picked veteran Nevada judges Dave Moretti and Patricia Morse Jarman and New Jersey's Steve Weisfeld to score their 12-round, 168-pound title unification fight at MGM Grand Garden Arena. Another Nevada veteran, Russell Mora, has been chosen as the referee for their Showtime Pay-Per-View main event.

Looking at those past scores, Canelo was not impressive against Jacobs, 7 to 5 rounds. Plant is better than Jacobs, so we could have a great fight on saturday.
