Comments Thread For: Hearn: I Find It Strange Fury Can Continuously Climb Up P4P Rankings By Beating Same Person

Every time Hearn talks about Fury, you can see how jealous and angry he is that Fury beat the guy that AJ is afraid of 3 times. Such a ***** -
I've forgotten more about boxing than you will ever know. And you Northern chavs are the muppets that get swayed by narratives - I actually watch fights and break down boxers.
If Fury doesn't run away or retire - both should end up fighting in the next 2 yrs. And I shall be here to remind you.Leave a comment:

Sorry but not a cat in hells chance, Ruiz castrated Josh I gave him a solid chance before the Ruiz fight in fact I always had Josh beating Fury but now just no. He has less dog in him then Parker and that's really saying something.Leave a comment:

What I find funny is a very recent Eddie Hearn interview is that he talks about this, forgetting that Fury also beat Wallin, then 5 seconds later mentions how hard a fight Wallin is going to be for Dillian Whyte. Nash out.
We need to put things in perspective though. I don't exactly disagree with Eddie...but perspective matters.
What's worse?
Crawford staying #2 despite beating nobody,
Or Fury going up for actually beating someone (even though multiple times)?
It's one of the mysteries of the world really.Leave a comment:

Whether P4P was an 'official thing" at that time or not, is irrelevant to the fact that people would have had in their own mind who they believe the best overall boxer is. Nash out.Leave a comment:

Fury isn't as good as advertised and he can't move like Usyk even in his dreams. Fury's movement when he was at his best ever was on the back foot - he has always been clumsy on the front foot. Usyk does both effortlessly. Moreover, he's kronk Fury now - a clumsy plodder fighting on the front foot. And I doubt he can lose weight to become 245lbs again.I like Hearn but Fury and his guy are from the SAME COUNTRY. They should of fought each other 5 years ago. His boy lost twice. Its not Fury’s fault. I still would love to see Fury fight Joshua though.
I like Joshua too but he had a hard time with a small man who has great movement AND knows how to box. Whats he going to do with a BIG man who can do the same??
AJ beats Fury 9 out of 10 times - styles make fights.Leave a comment:

Personally, I don’t have Fury on my P4P top 10 list, but we all know what Hearn’s game is here. He’s devastated that Fury, Arum, Wilder and Haymon delivered the best HW fight in years and he had absolutely nothing to do with it.
Well, yes but that is not a problem here. Lets pretend that P4P rankings matter and you have ESPN ranking where Fury is sixth and moved to fourth while defeating boxer he already defeated (while fights not being that close, but that is for another discussion). It is not about if you have Fury on P4P list but if second win against Wilder really moved a needle like that?Leave a comment:
