Seriously, and if he does continue he needs to get a new corner. None of them said **** to fire him up. He was clearly losing round after round and nobody seemed to have a clue. Or maybe they did and they don't have the confidence to slap Big Mikey across the mouth and tell him to get going. That's weird. You would think your big bro, of all people, would do this. Mikey is fat, slow and undisciplined. He used to be called one of the smartest technicians in the game, but he fights dumb as hell in there now. He falls for the same damn traps over and over and then raises his glove after every round as though that gesture is worth something. Mikey isn't old, he's just undisciplined. Maybe his biggest problem is that he's got too many people stroking his ego at home making him think he's better than he is. Based on yesterday, he's not even a Top 20 JWW and not even a Top 30 WW. If he had real discipline, he could knock 10 pounds off and be an elite LW.

Nobody beats father time. Mikey had more days in the sun than most. The time on top is short. He got plenty out of his telent.

No desire, no fire, no discipline. Inactive for more than a year.

If Mikey's heart isn't into boxing then he should just retire and stop wasting everyone's time.

Now I hope it's clear why I said back then that Broner SHOULD NOT have lost to this man. Because he shouldn't have.

...He didn't have it in the Spence fight. All he did was fist pump after clearly losing rounds - celebrating not getting knocked out.

That's what turned me off from being a Mikey fan. It's like during his second career he thought hey I'm such an elite level talent that 70% of me is good enough to beat guys 2 divisions above me. His own delusion made him think he could stop developing his craft.

Its sad to me to see Mike go out this way. He’s fighting way to heavy. Busting the dad bod. He should of been DISCIPLINED and stayed at 130-135. He could of had some great fights.
