Why does BUD allow Duran, SRL, Hearns move UP in weight to 168, but he stays at 147?

There are plenty of guys who rehydrate 15+ lbs after the weigh-in. And Crawford has never missed weight so I don’t see the problem

crawford knew what he was doing when his contract came up for renewal with arum. He was happy fighting the mediocre guys he fights for the pay he was getting.

He could press things and try to be great, he could have made more if he went with haymond and fought spence and pac. But he just doesnt care. Hes 34 years old now and what are even his top names, undersized gamboa, postol and past it khan and a kell brook that had both sides of his face already broken.

Exactly. I don’t and never have liked Spence ever, but I don’t penalize the denture wearing. droopy eyed overrated cocaine drunk for not moving up.

That’s a reasonable answer. People talk about moving up but a fighter could also cherry-pick the weakest belt holders to become a multi-division titlist.

That’s a problem with boxing overall, not just Bud Crawford.
