When Canelo faced GGG, GGG was in his prime, Canelo did not, prime Canelo is in 168.

Márquez K.Od Pacquiao when he was 40 years.

Whay does that say about Pacquiao?

Floyd was 40 when he beat Canelo.

You make a lot of excuses.

Prime Canelo vs a wild GGG would be worst to GGG.

I don't waste much time with you.

you’re really not very smart. Boxers aren’t in their primes at 35 yrs old. Canelo was 28 which is peak age and he still needed a gift from the judges. Floyd was 36 when he beat canelo. Not 40. Do you even follow boxing? As far as pac, it’s not the same when they were both young when they first fought and then fought a total of 4 times. Not to mention that in between those fights pac was fighting multiple other hall of fame fighters. Multiple! Canelo hasn’t faced any future hall of famers since fighting ggg. Not 1. The only one who might come close is Kovalev and even he probably won’t get in because his biggest win is vs a 49 yr old Hopkins. Your comparisons are horrible.

Prime is not about your age, is about your skills and career (wars, developing stages, etc).

Golovkin always had a soft career before face Canelo.

Fernando Vargas was shot at 24 years old.

Márquez, B Hop, Maravilla, Rigo, were in their prime when they were old.

Márquez faced Pacquiao for the first time when he was 31 years old, stop... man.

Kovalev is for sure a HOF fighter.

Old Nonito destroyed the face of Inoue, and Nonito was shot....

Canelo already has 3 wins vs hall of famers, GGG 0.

      Loma 0

      Usyk 0

      So...

well, Canelo faced all the champions of the 168 pounds.

And the #3 in 175 pounds.

Of fact, and Old Kovalev is much better and dangerous rival than the rivals that GGG faced in his whole career except Canelo and Jacobs.

        And You still. B.hurt

        • Nothing really. He still beat Canelo. It's a shame he's done nothing notable since when he's already as old as he is.

            So...
you have no clue what prime is and age has a large part to do with it. Some peoples prime ends sooner than others while others can still be effective even past their prime but nobody is in their physical prime at 35. Doesn’t mean that they’re still not capable, but definitely not in their prime. Unfortunately for canelo, all of his biggest wins were against 35 and older opposition. And for ggg, he definitely wasn’t prime at 35. He had 350 amateur fights and 37 pro fights by the time canelo fought him. Have some sense. You can move the goal post all you want but canelo has not beaten one hall of fame worthy fighter while they were still in their prime. He didn’t even get a real win vs an old ggg.

doesn’t matter if they’re champions if they’re not all that good and strictly euro level talent. And don’t even start with Kovalev. The guy was 36, knocked out in back to back yrs and was nearly knocked out by a novice just 10 weeks before facing canelo. He was damaged goods and canelo took advantage of his name.

                2. Do you know that Yidilgrim was the only mandatory canelo has ever faced? When ggg was his mandatory, canelo dropped his belt, when charlo was his mandatory, canelo dropped his belt, when Derveyenchenko was his mandatory, he dropped his belt. But all of a sudden when Yidilgrim was his mandatory, he made sure that fight happens. Any excuses as to why? I’d love to hear your excuses.
                3. I didn’t compare ggg to Marquez genius. Is your reading limited? I compared what Marquez was able to do with pac to what canelo wouldn’t do with ggg, fight until you win convincingly. Not taking your judges assisted win and running away. If you wanna condone that kind of nonsense then that on you as a groupie, but a real boxing fan wants to see a definitive end to a rivalry and canelo took the b***h way out.
It's comical that you keep insisting the man to beat is unproven Andrade who ducked the fights that could have made him a frontrunner. He was the weak link of the division and unifying with him wasn't even an option when Canelo lost the IBF shortly after the Jacobs unification with his mandatory Derev refusing career high money.

And how are you going to act surprised he fought Yildirim as mandatory when accepted the fight unlike Derev who rejected $5.5M and was dragging his feet to the end. Derev obviously preferred the style matchup vs GGG and did a good job capitalizing on his body that still look weak from the damage Canelo dished out. And again, you keep grasping at straws when a fight with Charlo was never mandated with Charlo saying he wasn't pushing for it and his own side saying they rejected it. Canelo didn't waste time and moved up to fight the bigger champ Kovalev and is now busily unifying 168 while 160 became a dead division with none of the remaining guys fighting each other despite their fanboys trying to prop them up.

What part about team GGG saying they refused the trilogy because they'd rather fight stiffs do you not understand? GGG didn't even want the second fight badly-- he was willing to walk away while refusing a massive payday, and any other A side fighter would have sent him on his way instead of giving him more money than he could accord to refuse. It's also ridiculous that you complain about judging when that's another instance of Canelo going above and beyond by letting GGG handpick his own judge Moretti after scoring the first one in his favor.

Even after beating GGG at his own game with his own judge and trainer agreeing, Canelo still circled back and offered him the trilogy but GGG refused because he doesn't want it Mexican style anymore. Canelo haters have lost the plot saying he needs to put his career on hold instead of lining up champs while the guys they praise are inactive and feasting on stiffs.

a lot of fan boy groupie logic. I can’t take you guys seriously because your defense of canelo is strictly based on him being Mexican. You wouldn’t be prostituting your pride and dignity as a boxing fan if he wasn’t. I never said Andrade was “the man to beat” but I pointed out the fact that canelo avoided him and declined an offer to fight him. That can’t be debated. Ggg played his cards right for the rematch because canelo got caught cheating. Everyone with any sense knew canelo lost the first fight and then got busted taking banned substance for the second. So canelo needed ggg more than ggg needed canelo. You also like to make up the narrative that ggg trainer agreed about the result. He agreed that it could’ve been a draw. You guys like to pretend that he felt canelo won. Guess what, there were 50 press row scorecards and only 2 thought canelo won that rematch. So stop pretending like it was decisive. He won a controversial split decision and then avoided a trilogy like a bi**h. Guess you just condone b***h moves. You lost your narrative when you tried to defend canelo not fighting ggg to clear up the controversy to face low level domestic level Uk talent when none of his opponents since ggg have generated as good of a fight, none have generated the same amount of interest in a fight and none have generated canelo the same amount of money as ggg has. So basically he’s been feasting on lesser opposition for less money. Be his fan boy that’s blinded by love if you want to, but stop trying to convince people smarter than you of anything different.
