Mikey could have had a Hall of Fame career. Instead, he is fighting some guy I never heard of. If he would have stayed with Top Rank, he could have fought Loma, Josh Taylor, Crawford, etc. Instead, he got his clock cleaned by Spence, and hasn't had a big fight since. You need to be popular and have a fan base to be a successful free agent. Nobody has to fight him. He will likely price himself out of the Prograis fight. Is there enough money in that fight to get it done? Neither has a title. Neither has a big fan base.
