Can guys with 25 losses or more be top 25 ATG's
Collapse

Yes
Example:
a fighter had a streak of 100 wins without losses winning multiple championships in multiple weight division.
and then on his 101st fight at age 40 he was beaten by an undefeated Challenger with a record of 30-0. He then continue to fight for 49 more fights winning 25 of them.
You also have to consider fighters like Langford who had to fight great fighters over and over because of the color of their skin. His resume has losses through out it, but it has huge wins also.Comment

As far as ATG lists I prefer ESPN's list...I don't like Ring Magazine's list and its older...
I haven't seen any othersComment

and depending on what era or part of the world we are talking about, you may even have to question whether they were properly nourished. And of course even more circumstances like racial prejudice in the scoring, bad decisions etc
Records are so deceptive, JCC jr is 39-0, Holyfield is 42-10....whos the better fighter again?Comment

SRR is up there with 19 losses...Why 19??? Because he fought until age 45, he would already have been suffering the early affects of pugilistic dementia when he retired.
Duran has 16....(fought until age 50, finishing his career fighting 60 lbs higher than what he started at)
Damn, even if Pacman went on a massive losing streak from now, and racked up 20+ losses, he's still an ATG in my book. Same with Evander, I don't care how many losses he ends up with, he's still great.Comment

I personally don't have any heavyweights in my p4p top 10.
Saddler is about right on this list in my opinion. I'd love to hear reasons why he should rank higher, as I may learn something new.Comment
