I’m not trying to say Tyson is the most complete heavyweight, just that his combination of attributes makes him a tall order for anyone who’s ever lived — literally and figuratively. Ali, for instance, was the clearly better boxer, but I doubt he could’ve dealt with a 6’9” opponent of Fury’s caliber. We can never know who wins these fantasy match-ups, but I’d put my money on a peak-condition Fury against anyone who’s ever laced up the gloves.
    Jesus christ dwarfed Lennox Lewis?

    Wilders down at 6ft 6
    fury claims 6 ft 9

Now go find any picture of them face to face and show me this substantial difference in height

And did wilder look dwarfed against fury at any time? Maybe in the stomach and back fat departments

Do you seriously think Lewis being an inch shorter than wilder will take away all his experience and vastly superior talents to both boxers

    It will mean **** all

Fury beat an already finished wladimir
    (go watch wladimir against jennings)
And his win over wlad was hardly spectacular

then beat wilder a guy gifted a belt and who folded a bunch of tomato cans and started boxing at 25 and you can tell

wilders done **** all and fury has undeserved hype and couldn't lace alis boot

Ali would light that big clumsy oaf up if they fought

and he's kod a bunch of d level at best guys

The best ko was against King Kong and he was getting beaten bad in both fights before his lucky punches
Wilder isn’t an ATG, but he’s not garbage.

His combination of punching power and toughness/durability would have made him a factor in the 90’s … guys like Moorer, Morrison and Briggs were factors in the 90’s and none were all that durable … certainly not as durable as Wilder has shown to be.

In other words, I don’t think he’s Derrick Jefferson.

You've just made an idiot out of yourself

The leather briggs ate from vitali with a fractured orbital bone and didn't go down makes him not durable? ... briggs took far more punishment and harder shots from vitali that night than wilder took from fury

When has wilder showed durability ? By getting put on ***** Street twice by a non puncher?

Fury landed at will on chisora and couldn't put him down

Wilder is far from durable,a lot of heart for getting hurt and getting up but does not deserved to be called durable in boxing terms

Also put if Morrison had wilders resume would he be labelled the greatest puncher of all time because the only guys on wilders resume that wouldn't get flatlined by morrison would be ortiz and fury the rest he would have demolished better than wilder ever could have

ATG my asś. Fury was suspended for 3yrs for PED use. He even threatened and tried to bribe a Farmer to give fake testimony to avoid suspension.

Your proof of Briggs’ durability is against a 39-year old Vitali?

Might as well throw in his fight against a 48-year old Foreman, too.

I respect Mike and his knowledge of boxing history. In this instance he is talking about the fights, not the fighters themselves.

So Wilder would get TKO1’d by Michael Bentt?

Okay, here’s a specific fight … when has Wilder ever folded like Briggs did against Wilson?

Lewis is listed as 6’5”. No one said Fury dwarfed Wilder, who’s 6’7”. Ali was 6’3”. Tough to light up a guy who’s six inches taller, 50+ pounds heavier, with telephone pole arms, skill and movement. Tyson is a legit 6’9”, unless you think Deontay’s lying about his height, too.
