Another knockout loss or two and then he is retired for good, becomes a journeyman or a stepping stone for young and up and coming fighters in order to build their resumes.
He's either a contender or a bum beater at this point. No sense in putting it off.

So what are you saying? All of those opponents were solid contenders don't you agree? In between both the Ortiz and Fury fights he fought only one mandatory challenger and the rest were all voluntary challenges against the best Heavyweights in the division and against the bogeyman of the division; Tyson Fury and Luis Ortiz. That was one Hell of a run if one were to ask me. He gave boxing fans that fights that we wanted to see.

78 is right and I just so happen to agree with him. After these last two bouts with Tyson Fury; Deontay could use a break. His last six bouts were against Luis Ortiz, Tyson Fury and Dominic Breazeale.
In addition, his last two bouts with Tyson Fury were especially brutal where he could have been seriously injured or even lost his life. However, he didn't. Those fights only made him that much tougher, stronger and more determined.
He needs at least three or four gatekeeping stay busy fights before stepping back into the ring with another contender or champion again. Not against any bums or tomato cans but with good opponents who are clearly past their primes.like: Chisora, Helenius, Kownacki, Wach, Brown or Washington..
He doesn't need to be cashed out or pimped out by Shelly Finkel for his name by throwing him back in there with the wolves against solid contenders like Andy Ruiz or Anthony Joshua yet.
He needs to get himself back into the win column first; In order to restore his confidence and to prove that he can still compete and defeat the elite fighters of the heavyweight division

Luis Ortiz is a killer...HAHAHAHAHA
What a joke, Wilder is the greatest bum-killer in HW history and when he finally fought somebody who wasn't a bum he looked clueless and got fuked up. What a surprise.
