  • Comments Thread For: Wilder Manager Responds to Fury Cheating Allegations: Did Fury Cheat? I Don't Know

Shelly Finkel is not willing to go so far as to call Tyson Fury a cheater in regards to his last bout against Deontay Wilder. But that does not mean he does not think there were some questionable tactics that Fury had used in the ring.

I’m of the kind that if someone requests an investigation and is able to present findings then there should be an investigation. Boxing is truly the Wild West. Any other sport in the USA would be governed by strict uniform rules and backed by a union of the actual athletes. Since there is no league that unifies the sport nationwide, the state athletic commissions should do more to reign in the sanctioning bodies who will never act against their own interests. And each state athletic commission needs to have liaisons at each fight and through the entire process from state, local, and federal law enforcement. As for this case specifically, what I won’t do is assume either he is automatically guilty or innocent. There should have been an actual investigation….there needs to be more investigations to clean up the corruption and criminality in this sport. Boxing is by far the dirtiest and most unregulated sport in the USA

I hope they watch Fury's hand wraps with a magnifying glass this time around. Question everything. Leave no stone unturned.

There should be an investigation! Into Wilder's excuses. I like the guy but him bringing controversy into a situation where there was none, just to save him own ego is a disgrace. Breland should have taken him to court and sued him, as should Tyson, but we move on, as long as he takes his next beating well, retracts all of his EXCUSES, and admits that Kronk Fury is the GOAT, then all is fine again. Heavy suit, spiked water, hammer in gloves, disloyal trainer, biased referee, voodoo spell, yet some clowns think these have merit! Nash out.

Without real evidence this is just more noise. Wilder has a chance to be in the history books Saturday. He and his team should politely decline to answer any question not related to his preparation for Saturday

Team phoney. they are all sticking around for their cheques off the back off the fight this weekend. why would anyone stick around for that guy after the tripe that's come out of his mouth since he got beat? All just standing by whilst their friend gets treated like dirt and made to stand in the corridor post fight like some kid outside the principals office. jerks. Are they not all serially embarrassed by all this guff? How many people close to Wilder this week - will come out in a years time and criticise him for the way he's acted? Loads i bet.

I think Wilder should be in court for the ****** allegations all attached to an inflated ego.

They have had how long to provide any proof? They just can't come to terms with Fury stomping Wilder. That is the downfall.

Dishonestly in boxing don't matter does it? Christian Hammer, still has a L on his record and never made it to the biggest fight of his career vs. Wladimir Klitschko, in spite the BBBofC official ruling to overturn the unjust results of Fury vs. Hammer in their WBA eliminator in 2015, due to Tyson's abuse of steroids.

The Gypsy-Bum went on to fail another UKAD Anti-doping test ( during investigation ). Then Tyson displayed even less regard for the establishment and authority by refusing to submit a urine sample. Fury, paid his lawyers to settle for a laughable sentence of a 'backdated-ban'. Hughie Fury's case is even a greater disgrace to the sport, he kept fighting and getting world-title offers and opportunities without any obstruction to his career.

"All titles, prize money and ranking points that [Fury] secured as a result of his victory in that fight are forfeited."
                  Sure they were.

Tyson should of been stopped a long time ago, he should not be making millions ; he is no champion, he shames his people.

This is Finkel basically saying Wilder is full of shlt. A lot of emotion? Coded language for he behaved like a woman with his excuses. Dirty tactics? Coded language for none of the outrageous cheating allegations are true.

There should be an investigation. If there were no egg weights: 6 month ban for Wilder for bringing the sport into disrepute. If there was no drugged water: 6 month ban for Wilder for bringing the sport into disrepute. Whatever happens: a 6 month ban for not knowing what an autopsy is. If they find any metal enhancements in either fighter's bodies: lifetime ban.

Then Breland should sue Wilder for trying to destroy his reputation and negatively impact his ability to earn.
