When all is said and done - Pacquiaos career will be marked with controversy around PED’s

Whenever you mention Pacquiao to a casual fan they will always say “oh is that the steroid guy?”

it’s a shame really, Manny had a great career but is excuses around random blood and urine testing will always leave question marks. He came up very short in the biggest fight of all time with Mayweather - he was schooled

    what do you guys think?

I think you wanted to say "marred with controversy".

PAC unarguably best of era. Any future stars will need to go the PAC route, PACs laid the blueprint. But Crawford not got the memo yet.
Floyd will always be the hometown fighter who takes IVs and don't give rematches

as far as i know pac agreed to random testing right up to 10 days before the fight at first, so u think he was going to load up on peds in the days up to the floyd fight and then test clean after it, this type of boxing testing is standard now, but in that time it was not usual so pac did compromise on it a lot imo, it was a very fair compromise to go ahead with, if fact i read somewhere that blood testing does not always go right up to the fight, in the days before it, unless something su****ious was detected, this was read a long time ago tho so not sure about it now but thats what the author said at the time

The question is always going to be there.

Why did he reject Mayweather's 50/50 offer to fight in 2009, just because of a demand for stricter random drug testing? Fighters who are clean have nothing to hide.

plus pac did then agree to full testing at all times and floyd went missing, not fight for the rest of the year etc, now that was strange, thats more telling imo opinion than not wanting blood test within 10 days of a fight at first
