Comments Thread For: Hearn on Usyk-Joshua Rematch: It's Frustrating...AJ Can Box 20 Times Better than That

Promoter Eddie Hearn is confident that his charge Anthony Joshua will bounce back in his expected rematch against Oleksandr Usyk. England's Joshua lost his heavyweight titles (IBF, WBA, IBO, WBO) to the Ukrainian whiz by 12-round unanimous decision at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London last Saturday night.

Came down to inner strength, and determination. At times AJ looked like he could have maybe walked Usyk down and done something, but the will to risk it wasn’t there. Unless he’s willing to take risks, which I don’t think he will, he’ll probably get ko’d in the rematch.

" . . he was the one who chose to take on the challenge.. ."

              No, Usyk was mandatory.

It was also obvious that Hearn and Joshua didn't really want that fight and did all they could to avoid it -eg push for Usyk-Joyce for interim etc.

Now that Joshua has confirmed definitely activating rematch clause, usyk should insist on continuous random VADA testing from now through until the fight.

Most of these UK guys in boxing are soft. The promoters, the trainers, the fighters and their teams. Lets not forget their brainless fans.

Just a bunch of lame, excuse making b---h boys with the same haircut. Cornballs....

Young Edward is such a clown and spoilt brat. It's people that don't know that say Joshua has gone from champion to useless, what we say is Joshua is not elite and was beaten by a smaller guy who is. Hearn as his promoter has to talk up Joshua for the rematch but he's surely not ****** enough to not to know that this is where they get left out of the big picture. Joshua will always put people in seats but notice now that Hearn is begging the WBC to force the winner of Fury v Wilder to fight Whyte who recently lost his position through a KO and refused to fight Joshua for the title .Wilder or Fury beat Whyte with ease.

Why s silver spoon Eddie saying that AJ could have taken easy fights and always won. They thought this would be an easy fight, against someone coming up from Cruiserweight. He lost in his own back yard with preferential judging by Howard con man Foster.
