Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua Proclaims Fight Against Oleksandr Usyk Will Come Down To Conditioning

Anthony Joshua arguably owns the best resume of any current heavyweight fighter, and his next test is arguably his trickiest. The WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO champion Joshua (24-1, 22 KOs) will fight Oleksandr Usyk (18-0, 13 KOs) on Saturday at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the United Kingdom.

It will be interesting how this plays out. Joshua’s change in tactics in the 2nd Ruiz fight is what makes this even more challenging to predict. How will he fight in this fight? It did not appear that he was going for a KO in that fight. Was it because of the shot he took in the first? Will he change because he does not fear Usyk? I am hoping that if it is a chess match it is not a boring chess match.

I´m guessing it´s a very high speed chess game and some very high level boxing. AJ´s stamina these days is much better than given credit for, but Usyk´s is still clearly better so AJ will try to bring the tempo down a bit with hard counters. No idea how this will end and I like it.

Aj boxing techique is average but he has a 2.0 human body. Usyk is very skilled but possibly less incredible phisically
