Comments Thread For: Ja'Rico O'Quinn: Beating Saul Sanchez Takes Me To Another Level, Toward Title Shot

Ja'Rico O'Quinn envisions Saul Sanchez learning quite quickly what Oscar Vasquez realized early in O'Quinn's last fight. O'Quinn expects Sanchez to try to press him as soon as their 10-round bantamweight bout begins Friday night in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The undefeated Detroit native also anticipates Sanchez having to abandon a game plan predicated on pressure once Sanchez recognizes that it won't work in their "ShoBox: The New Generation" main event.

O'Quinn talking about Mexican fighters like he does something special. He couldn't keep Vasquez off of him, O'Quinn layed on the ropes eating leather and countering. He's not a runner and he's not a big hitter. This should be better than he makes out. Just because he hasn't been hurt yet, doesn't mean he can be so dismissive.
