  • Comments Thread For: Tyron Woodley: Jake Paul's Size Advantage 'Very Much So' Exaggerated Entering Fight

CLEVELAND - Jake Paul stands four inches taller than Tyron Woodley. Paul also has weighed in at least 189 pounds for each of his three professional boxing matches, 19 pounds more than the mixed martial arts welterweight limit at which Woodley competed for many years. Woodley contends, though, that their size discrepancy has been greatly exaggerated during the buildup toward their eight-round cruiserweight main event at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Sunday night.

And did you guys know that Boxrec does not even list Tommy Fury's orangutan arm reach advantage over ''T-Rex arms'' Anthony Taylor?

Again, who is talking abouy Tommy but you? Nobody. This is the only way you are justifying this s**t show. Last I checked Fury isn't headling PPVs and his opponent actually boxed before, also isn't pushing 40. You are obsessed with the Fury family, they live rent free in your head. It's actually getting creepy how far you have your head up Jake Paul's a$$. No wonder nobody takes you serious, you are the joke of Boxingscene.

Well weight would be an advantage in clinches here but Tyrone is the grappler here . I think it all boils down to how Woodley reacts to punches from a bigger guy and if they actually effect him more then the MMA gloves ? Still thinking Woodley wins here but ? We will probably see if Jake is packing glass here when he gets hit himself .

Jake Paul eats what he wants and lifts weights. He’s always bloated, so the exhibitions revolve around his weight.

I think Woodley KO’s Paul tbh, and Paul still wins as he’ll attract more exhibitions as such. The basics is Woodley’s camp knows that Paul just throws a right hand. For a guy like Woodley he should be able to read that. I saw Paul gasping for air against some Arabian youtuber and Woodley hits significantly harder, more determined, than any of those guys. Boxing is fun tbh. I don’t think Paul fears and probably knows he’s going to get KO’d. I don’t know about Woodley. I’ll go look at some highlight tape of his in a bit

jonnyc69, you told me that you were going to watch UFC on Saturday and spend time with the family on Sunday, but I can see that the Jake Paul vs. Tyrone Woodley PPV has you intrigued and glued to the monitor for all the upcoming developments during the day.

I'll have you know jonnyc69, there are quality boxing matches on the undercard : Amanda Serrano vs. the current WBC 122 pound champion Yamileth Mercado is thrilling for womens boxing, and Ivan Baranchyk taking on a rising undefeated talented contender Montana Love, is significant for the jr. welterweight division. I feel that I do not have to justify my interest, at the very least this card is better than what Matchroom UK events deliver.

And by the way, the fact that Tommy Fury is clout-chasing Jake Paul on his undercard, gives me every right to talk about him ; I even heard that Tommy Fury vs. Anthony Taylor is BTSPORT PPV for the Brits

Guys, can we start calling Tommy Fury 'Tarzan-Boy'? I think he can swing on Tyson's nuts pretty well with those orangutan-arms.

You're right, Jake is making a mockery out of the sweet science. At 3 - 0 he shouldn't be fighting an MMA fighter, he should be fighting a professional journeyman who is paid to not only lose, but make Jake Paul look good like the rest of the boxing prospects.

Even though I'm not hung up on Jake, I believe he'll beat Woodzer
