Six division world champion Oscar De La Hoya is a big supporter of Youtube star turned boxer, Jake Paul. This Sunday, Paul (3-0, 3 KOs) will take part in his fourth pro fight, when he faces former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in the main event of a Showtime Pay-Per-View card.

The funny thing is that, let's say he's good enough for a world title shot, there's more money in these crossover fights with a former MMA fighter. Or so it seems anyway.

More people have heard of Jake Paul than cruiserweight world champion L. Okolie. The world today 'ey. Having said that, Paul can box somewhat well, how much, we'll see his development.

He knows this from seeing Paul essentially beat up little kids at the park. He should be a scout.

People need to differentiate their emotional reaction to this new phenomenon like Paul brothers and rational analysis of what it actually does for the sport. Yes, they are obnoxious in the way they carry themselves and, yes, they are not headlining shows because they earned this privilege through blood, sweat and tears in the gym and in the ring like literally every other professional fighter. But they do bring awareness and money to the sport. Which is the bottom line. So, yeah, Oscar sees this as well as business opportunities for himself and he goes into the lucrative spot. Good for him. You need to be an envious, bitter couch potato not to acknowledge this. So yeah...these 2 youtubers are definitely good for boxing. As unpleasant we may find them otherwise. But maybe we should be less hypocritical as well - they didn't **** anyone, sucker punched anyone outside the ring, you know they haven't done all those things fans close their eyes on when they support their "real" boxers.

Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the mouth. Any top 30 cruiser weight or heavyweight would absolutely demolish them. They aren’t about getting hit. They are YouTubers.

                Absolutely he can!

All the wba have to do is create a new belt and have him ranked no1 and fight for it

Is the bridgerweight belt still vacant?

Oscar is stroking this dude because he's probably trying to sign him

And, thousands of fighters set their hearts on becoming world champs. Just because your "heart" is set on becoming a world champ, doesn't mean that you'll become one lol
