Comments Thread For: Tommy Fury: I'm Gonna Take Taylor's Head Off; Coming For Jake Paul; Gonna Nail Him, Too!

CLEVELAND - Tommy Fury publicly delivered an expected message to Jake Paul on Wednesday night. Tyson Fury's half-brother promised to annihilate Anthony Taylor in their six-round cruiserweight fight on the Paul-Tyron Woodley undercard Sunday night. If both favored fighters win their cruiserweight bouts at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, Tommy Fury wants to challenge Paul next.

I can't think of someone receiving more undue praise and attention in boxing right now than Tommy Fury. Say what you want about Paul, but people can **** right off if they want to pretend for even a second that they would be marching into the ring with a seasoned MMA fighter so early into their boxing career. MMA striking is different from boxing, but its still ****ing striking. The punches still hurt. Askren may be a trash standup but Woodley is not.

Fury on the other hand looked human fighting some 2-0 white collar boxing bum. And people on youtube are calling him some "brilliant boxer". Seriously? God, the Fury's really are ****ing used car salesmen

        Gtfo here with that ****.

woodley who has lost his last 4 fights. Lost All 18-20 rounds in a row and is approaching 40 years old and clearly undersized is a good win?

Retired ben askren who had lost his last two fights and came off a double hip surgery is a good win? Who has the striking of a mummy?

2 youtubers who have never had a fight in their life?

Heres the difference; fury has been in the ring with people who actually BOX and have had BOXING FIGHTS. Most likely as well as many amateur fights.

are you fkin kidding me. Go to sleep. Stop watching boxing

The height difference is a lot, Fury looks like a high school senior about to beat up a primary school boy.
Shades of "who the heck cares".

Oh get out. He's been in the ring with rubbish boxers. As I keep saying, if any of you actually spent any ****ing time in the ring you would understand that boxing is not a super power. There are plenty of professionals who are terrible at it.

Woodley has losses to Usman and Covington. Some of the best welterweight MMA fighters in the world. There are plenty of MMA fighters who would annihilate domestic level boxers and would kill the caliber of opponent Tommy Fury has been fighting so far. He may be in the decline but he has not suddenly forgotten how to fight. I guess we will see come Sunday.
