As I been saying, he was picked for a reason, can't win in his own sport but he is gonna pick up boxing and beat a guy who holds every advantage over him. Only a sucker will pay for this, thankfully for Showtime there is a ton of suckers out there.

Woodley has the look of a shot fighter but Paul has the look of a non fighter. He still hasn’t beaten anyone and people are acting like Woodley is a dead man walking. We still don’t even know if Paul can fight.

Hmmm most seem to be picking Paul to win only on the basis off it being held as a boxing fight NOT an MMA bout which would have actually had more benefit/advantage for Woodley to engage in his craft against Paul come fight night

The only reason we get articles about him is his following. For the most part a pro with 4 fights is never mentioned unless there is a promotional angle because of amateur pedigree or lineage. IF he manages to stay undefeated and actually starts fight boxers. In 20 fights or so we can make that call. Right now it's too much too soon to even imagine he can fight. I think the kid is doing better than most considering his experience and if he manages to beat Woodley I may give a little credit VERY LITTLE but at least Woodley is an actual fighter..... of sorts Lol

Woodley also has a decent right hand. See his finish of Lawlor.

From what I've heard and seen a bit, Woodley was an excellent nma fighter. But, he lost his last four fights, and people forget that Jake has had a few years of top level training as a boxer, and he's not bad.

So Teddy is probably correct. It's not like Jake is fighting for the world cruiserweight title.

He'd have to beat proper ranked boxers to show us that he is serious to get a title, and not only to make the most money fighting mma guys like Woodley, who aren't boxers. But I do respect that the Paul brothers put in the work, the training.

Teddy Atlas is super knowledgeable, but he is one of the worst fight pickers I've seen, if you bet against him you'll win 9 outa 10.
