You Floyd guys would have credibility if you just said that Mayweather won. But saying that it was a convincing win just shows how blind you are or just plain lying. It was a close fight that could have gone to Pacquiao. Mayweather never embarassed himself with the way he fought more than he did against Pacquiao. Excessive clinching ala Klitschko and running ala Rigo. You ignore that outside and inside the US many felt Manny was robbed.

Again officially Floyd won, same as Jeff Horn and Tim Bradley 1. Congratulations.

May beat the man who beat prime Thurman

Yeah, I know. Many people beat your boy
A part time school teacher robbed him.
Horn wouldn't win a single rd vs shot May.

In the end, no Pac fan can say he beat May. Mention every fighter in the world if it helps.

Yep. Fan of both. Floyd since he turned pro, and Manny back when he wore un matching flip flops down the street. I always thought “Muh” ( that’s what me and I brother usually refer to him as ) would beat PAC and not unlike how it happened. Those saying Floyd was scared never really believed that. The best defensive fighter in the world brings down his opponents output. Thus reducing the odds of a KD or KO. His counters are fast and sharp, they give pause. Nobody can just bum rush him. People get frustrated vs Floyd, they don’t build momentum. I’m not saying it was a pretty fight, or even that entertaining. A draw is a bridge too far for most fans without a real axe to grind in my opinion. I thought Ugas showed great composure. He stood his ground and threw a right hand that was like a monkey wrench into Manny’s combos, just like JMM did. Manny’s jab jab left right hook has been recorded and studied. He came up shirt with his punches too often. He tried, but Ugas nailed him with too many good jabs and clean counters. At this stage, Manny needs thats surprise early flash KD to keep him in these fights. I thought Spence would win comfortably, not KO Manny but get better as Manny faded. After seeing this, if Spence pushed ( not sure he would ) he might have gotten Freddie to throw in the towel.

May wanted Pac when he was PBF but Pac didn't anticipate the random blood testing ''demand''. From that point, I knew Pac was done.No MFer turns down what would have been the most lucrative fight ever (and one of the best fights of all time). I say this because they were both at their best weight and PBF had a very good KO %. I had PBF beating Pac pillar to post. PBF was the wrong opponent for Pac but Pac was an easy guy to figure out and no fighter at that time (or since) was smarter than PBF.

Hardcore Pac fans will toss out bits of silliness in hopes of easing the pain. They toss out Margarito as a guy who would have beaten May . They say he ducked Margarito even though May went on to fight guys who would have literally killed Margarito. Pac fans, and those like them, toss out the word ''ducked'' without ever supplying links to support it. Whatever facts they do produce is easily thrown back at them.

As for the actual fight, it was dull and May was clearly not interested in pushing matters. Box, be smart and get the hell out of there. Which is exactly what he did.

No fear of needles OR Pac. The end.
The end? Who are you king Arthur? Or Gengis Khan?

And Ugas fans will never say there is nothing Pac can do to equal ugas win over pac like floyd boys do about Floyd's hometown, I V enhanced, no rematch win over pac.

Well said. Oscar was supposed to be too big for Floyd and was favoured to win if I remember also. I like Manny but if you stand your ground and throw a right hand you can put a monkey wrench into his classic combo. Marquez knew that. When he sent PAC’s soul up to the rafters with that counter right. I referred to it as a “tech counter” as a street fighter reference. My brother said, “no, a tecate counter”! So that’s what we refers to that punch as now. I thought the Maidana fight was very close though I didn’t score the rounds. I even thought a draw seemed more appropriate. My brother watched it without sound on ( he likes to do that sometimes ) and he thought Floyd won. Either way the Floyd vs Manny fight by being held off ended up making more money than ever expected. I think sadly that box office result wasent a great precedent to be set. Too many boxers and promoters where willing to hold off on big fights, but it was more an outlier than something to set your watch to.

Oh yeah, Pac is 42 year old and had 11 days preparation.
