MMA should have a 5 count when a kat is knocked hard on the canvas…otherwise shameful cheating and health risk

MMA could easily have a a loud warning sound by sideline refs when a fighter hits the floor hard, similar to an 8 count world. MMA fighters would have to learn this rule.

I feel sorry for a ref who has to sprint to stop log hammers to the face when a dude is already out cold. It’s a loophole, because avalanching a strike from high ground is no different than just kicking him in the face when down, meaning the brain trauma isn’t different.
