The consensus coming out of the opening bout of the men's flyweight quarterfinals is that Yuberjen Martinez is destined to go far in the pro ranks. Unfortunately, his dream of bringing a Gold medal home from the Tokyo Olympics to Colombia fell one two fights short--even if it shouldn't have been the case.

From what I have seen from both finalists I think the Paalam will take the gold in the final.

He shows a more complete and more rounded skill set, with good hand speed and movement and is a very good at counterattacking as well. He looks a lot faster than Yafai and moves around better.
