NEWARK, New Jersey - Vito Mielnicki Jr. got back on the winning track Saturday night, though not against the opponent he wanted to beat. Mielnicki knocked out Noah Kidd in the second round of a welterweight fight scheduled for eight rounds at Prudential Center. Mielnicki improved to 9-1 and produced his sixth knockout before a loud crowd that mostly came to watch Mielnicki, who resides in nearby Roseland, New Jersey.

Vito is only hyped because he’s white and young, he’s only ok not a great talent at all especially at 147. The guys he fought and beat were non talented bums.

Noah Kidd is one of the worst fighters I've ever seen on TV. He didn't even get hit flush and he went down every time he was touched. Vito proved absolutely nothing. He's young so maybe he'll improve. I just hope he doesn't take the white prospect approach where he fights nobodies until he's 26 and then gets blown out when he finally steps up. Like Mason Menard, Ryan Kielczweski, Trevor McCumby, list goes on and on.
