Every promoter knew that Lopez, on his own, could never sell enough to cover his 4mill payday in the US. Without a side show attraction Trilla will need to stage the fight wherever they can earn the most and that happens to be an open air arena in Australia. It's about money, nothing more to it.

By the way, Lopez had two good fights, he's not Canelo or Floyd.

You are correct, big fights are in America but Lopez vs George is not one of them.

In order to pay Lopez 4 million Trilla will need to hold the fight were it pays the best....full stop, there is nothing more to it.

Thriller wants to make as much money as possible
Ellerbe tweeted a few weeks ago that ticket sales
For the fight in Florida were garbage, so imo they
Plan to host it in a rugby stadium down there

Why are people so concerned that he fights in Australia when practically everyone’s prediction of the outcome of this fight is Lopez by KO so it wouldn’t fall into the judges hands and Kambosos chin won’t hold up the moment Lopez catches him. So there you have it people. No robbery will be in the books if Kambosos gets KO’d

DiBella and Arum usually get along fine. I think Lopez's manager is giving everyone a headache lately. I know Arum is in the background laughing his ass off! Even though I can't stand him, Bob always gives us a gem. This is his latest:

Bob Arum Wants Terence Crawford Vs. Shawn Porter In November On Pay-Per-View

“It’s not going to go to a purse bid,” Arum continued on the Crawford – Porter clash...

“It’s one thing for a promoter to do it voluntarily,” said Arum on making fights like Crawford vs. Porter. “It’s another thing for promoters to do it voluntarily after they’ve been ordered by an organization to do it. It makes it much easier,” said Arum.

I bet it won't go to purse bid, not after Lopez vs. Kambosos! I guess it is easier Bob, either he fights Porter, or he gets stripped of his title! LMAO!

Lopez is a name dropper that flat out, refuses to fight anyone competitive and that doesn't earn respect.

Lopez is threatening to walk if he doesn't get more, its about more money.
