Comments Thread For: Keyshawn Davis Dominates Enrico La Cruz, Advances to Round of 16 In Tokyo

Keyshawn Davis reminded the boxing world of why he has been tabbed as the best shot at bringing home Gold for the U.S. Olympic boxing team. The 22-year old American advanced in the opening round of lightweight competition after soundly outpointing Netherland's Enrico La Cruz over three rounds Sunday afternoon local time at Kokugikan Arena in Tokyo.

We certainly do, we just expect more of our boxers than the Brits who cheer on their guys who are only good on a domestic level who get stomped more often than not by Americans.

The fact you even mentioned the Brits when replying to an American shows you otherwise. We beat Americans the vast majority of the time. Check the records. Check the collective resumes from all the top fighters and compare. It's actually embarrassing for you lot. And we don't don't go around picking fighters who have been out for ages across the board like you lot do. And we don't lose every time pretty much when we fight a prime fighter who hasn't got a mass of disadvantages against them like you lot do. Robberies can't stop people seeing the truth either.

As for Amateur boxing... We've been superior than you for many years. You're not even a part of the top nations in boxing. You're well down the list.

Looked Good no surprise though! He is favorite to Medal, anything less than a Silver Runner Up to Andy Cruz Gomez is a disappointment for Davis

Amerca has 50 boxing gold medals to England's 18. You have a little catching up to do.

We don't fight as England, we fight as Great Britain. And i'm talking recent history, not all time.

However, if you look at the per capita, you need 5 times what we get just to break even. Anything less and we've surpassed you.
