However, he didn't carry that to 147! We are still not sure Crawford is really good at 147, because he's not faced the competition that DSG has! DSG fought Thurman, Porter, and Spence! He went 0-3. How do we know Crawford would do better? The "Eye Test!"
I think the big difference is Danny didn’t dominate like Crawford did at the lower weights. He arguably lost to Herrera for example. I do understand your point though, Crawford definitely needs a statement win at 147. His only notable wins in terms of ratings are Horn (#8) and Kavaliauskas (#10) and even they are nothing special in all honesty.

6- Mathysse was rebuilding after getting beat by Danny Garcia

      Total bullsh**.

It was 5 years after Matthysse had lost to Garcia. That’s one hell of a rebuild.

Hey Tbe who are you fighting next?

        Tbe: a shopworn Andre Berto

Name value is based on opinion. For example I think Postol was great win, yet some people might think otherwise.

If you actually analyse the facts. Postol was #1 ranked in the division and an undefeated champion. There was nobody better in that division he could have fought.

Statistically Crawford has a good resume. For example: How many other active fighters have 4 wins over top 5 ranked fighters? That would be a relatively short list.

Thats what I said when he could have chosen a great like Rios or Horn, maybe even the amazing Algieri or the legendary Lucas Matthysse, isn't that right.

Who did Postol beat...? Names absolutely matter. Especially when given context to everything.

I didn't think much of Postal, barely WC material, a snappy tight boxer nothing real classy about him at all.

All the top guys are with PBC and forbidden to speak his name. It is a shame. I hope he gets out of Top Rank and can finish his career with some big fights.
For one, we know for a fact, Crawford had Shawn Porter on the table to fight and they clearly said they don't want that fight. Keith Thurman same, they said he's pricing himself out. What is his excuse for not fighting Porter? Porter not in a position to price himself out.

Lets see. (Let’s say top 10 for a little breathing room) Mikey Garcia, never beat a top 10 welter. Danny Garcia never beat a top 10 welter. Shawn Porter, beat Ugas & Danny, neither of which has ever beaten a top 10 welter, besides that, Devon Alexander in 2013? Kell Brook, never beat a top 10 welter except Porter, and basically a non-existent resume besides Shawn to be honest. And haterz like to cite “eye-test doe” with Crawford…

Damn, atleast the Hornet had a win over a legit and established welter, albeit arguable.
