$100k for a unification? That’s almost as low as UFC fighter salaries. Crazy.

In a weak women's division that doesn't have much attention she would be making more than some male fighters cmon man you can't make those comparisons if it was a fight against Katie Taylor or Cecilia Braekhus then we would be looking at bigger numbers and that's the opponents purse probably more than she has ever made in her entire career thus far should've taken it.

Supply and demand mate, the more eyes and interest they bring to the sport the more they will be compensated in purses, as things stand women sport in general is paid way less then men simply because less specatators and interest, which results in less sponsors etc. Same case in tennis. Who knows what cruz was making prior, id imagine it was significantly less then 100k

Nobody's ducking Katie Taylor, she doesn't strike fear in her opponents heart's with her anemic power.
Female boxing champions have vacated their belts in order to avoid fighting Amanda Serrano.
Which have unfortunately left her with the dubious distinction of having to fight for several vacant/vacated titles.
It's not that their weren't any champion of that particular title at the time, it's that the champion at the time refused
              to fight Serrano.
Amanda Serrano has a 90% knockout ratio, and has better boxing skills that Taylor, and she'll beat if not knockout
Taylor when they finally do meet in the ring.
Amanda is a 7 weight division boxing champion thats the record for women in the sport of boxing.
Moreover she has a 40-1-1 (30 KO's), record unheard of in womens boxing which is quite possibly the best knockout
              percentage among women boxers.
It was a question of Eddie Hearn, Taylor's promoter, and the promoter of the initial scheduled fight lowering Serrano's
              agreed upon purse.
Katie Taylor is tough fighter who won an Olympic gold medal, that has helped her professional career immensely.
Therefore she gets the big money offers, title opportunities and the like, but I had her losing both of her fights with
              Delfine Persoon.
They were very hard fought matches, but she got beat up in both fights, even worse in their second meeting.
Other than winning the Olympic gold medal which is a great achievement, she'll never reach Serrano's record or
              accomplishments in the professional ranks.
The best that she could hope to do is defeat her in the ring, and she's in no hurry to sign for that fight, which would be
the biggest money fight that can be made in female boxing.
On the merits stated above if anyone's ducking anyone, the ducking would fall completely on Katie Taylor, ducking
              Amanda Serrano.
I suspect that the reason for Taylor ducking Serrano, is that she knows that she'd lose that fight and lose it royally.

Amanda Serrano is the baddest in the game right now.

The #1 P4P woman, in my opinion.

Some lower weight (men) champions have earned less. That's not bad for the audience they attract. Not bad for a 10 round, 2 minutes round fight.
