Comments Thread For: Ricky Hatton Would Embrace Exhibition Clash With Oscar De La Hoya

Former two division champion Ricky Hatton would embrace the opportunity to face his former promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, in an exhibition fight. De La Hoya, who retired after suffering a stoppage loss at the hands of Manny Pacquiao in 2008, is planning to return to the ring in September in an exhibition fight with MMA legend Vitor Belfort.

Exhibition matches not such a joke anymore
Con will be the next retired guy to test it out after denouncing it.

These exhibitions are just that, not proper fights. Mike Tyson was holding back against Jones, when you could see Roy was struggling.

Ricky is very overweight, not looking good, but guess he could get back in shape.

There is one pro fighter who may as well only fight exhibitions, because he is an embarrassment now, Chavez Jr.

Ricky was decrying Mayweather's fight with Logan Paul as a shameless cash grab a week or two ago but so long as he gets to top up his own bank account he's all for it. I'm losing respect for a lot of retired boxers I respected, get a sniff of money and they're willing to whore themselves and the prestige of the sport as a whole out
