Comments Thread For: Erickson Lubin Knocks Jeison Rosario Out in Sixth of WBC Eliminator

ATLANTA - The risk was well worth the reward for Erickson Lubin. The 154-pound contender knocked out Jeison Rosario in the sixth round of their WBC elimination match Saturday night at State Farm Arena. The powerful southpaw's stoppage of the former IBF/IBO/WBA champion was his most impressive victory of the six wins he has produced since Jermell Charlo knocked him out with one punch in the first round of their WBC title fight in October 2017 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Dang I picked Lubin late stoppage. Still feel good doe! Lots of cats were picking Rosario!

Lubin’s chin is questionable doe. I was nervous at times.

That was a straight low blow just like the first time he wobbled Rosario was after the bell cheap shot and the referee didn't say **** that's lame was a good fight and Rosario was in it they are both chinny with power but Jermell leaves Lubin super glued to the floor again.

I understand why people would pick Rosario. He’s a straight dog in the ring and he’s pulled off some great performances in the past.

Two fights in a row Lubin has done the stanky dance. No chin at all. But his boxing skills are solid.

Rosario is a former unified champion. 154 is so embarrassing.

I was on the Lubin bandwagon b4 Lubin succumbed to the amateur move that allowed Charlo to lay him out.....hopefully Lubin now becomes a threat that can rematch Jermell and give him all he can handle.

154 is a very weak division. Thankfully other divisions such as HW are very, very strong. Nash out.
