These idiots are taking the name of boxing in a very bad direction , Oscar for his part is completely out of control and needs help. Boxing doesn't need people that support these kind of circus fights, some of it is down to the greedy promoters putting on shyte PPV fights and matching faded fighters on these shows.

This isn't boxing . It's an exhibition fight. They can call it anything they want but I wouldn't take this too seriously or lose sleep over it. It's a PPV event that has a few 40- something's trying to re-live past glory. Don't like this type of entertainment ? Don't order it. I'm a boxing fan. This fight here doesn't affect the boxing scene whatsoever. The damage done to the sport of boxing was done long ago. This fight, Paul's fights , Tyson/ Jones etc have nothing to do with the demise of boxing. The problem with boxing is none of champs wants to take risks. The champs don't want to fight anyone . They take calculated risks where's there's literally no chance of losing. And it's usually the biggest stars leading the way. That and yes, everything being on PPV. No free fights anymore. Boxing isn't dead and never will be. As we can see when actual great matchups happen, the numbers do well. Put on a Loma vs Lopez rematch , Lopez vs Tank , Lopez vs Garcia, Fury vs Joshua, Charlo vs Canelo , Canelo vs Triple G 3, , Spence vs Thurman, Spence vs Crawford , actually Crawford against anyone legit. He fought Brook last year and Brook had already being crushed a few times 4-5 yrs previously. When Brook steps up he gets beat, except the 1 win against Porter in 2014. Overrated big time. But that win in 2020 puts Crawford at #1 in most pound for pound lists???. Crawford even publicly states he has no interest in Spence. Comical. Anyhow, put on great matchups, , and you'll see there's boxing fans out there. When the great matchups happen, people pay, people watch. Do I watch these silly exhibitions also, ie; the Paul's etc ? Yes I do. But it's for entertainment and a few laughs. These freakshows mean nothing to the sport.

Ok, no. This fight isn't huge because both guys are old and passed their primes. They haven't been active for years and it's an exhibition bout. Can it be entertaining? Sure. Can it tell a good story? Yeah. But I wouldn't call it a blockbuster.

48-year-old Oscar is in worse shape than Chavez Jr. Belfort is a monster with more KO power and much bigger than anyone Oscar ever faced in his prime...and in fairly reasonable shape for a 44-year-old. The only reason Oscar doesn't realize this is that he's high on drugs and alcohol. Oscar will probably get KO'd.

That's less than three months for Oscar to get in shape, and he probably needs three years.

Oscar should have picked a fight with the youtuber that Floyd fought. That would’ve been a much easier fight. Which weight are these guys gonna be fighting at?190? Cruiserweight-ish?

I like that the MMA greats have chosen to try their hand at boxing. Like Anderson Silva, Belfort is already a pro boxer. Many of the old skool Brasilian Vale Tudo fighters actually had pro boxing experience especially those who were kick boxers and MT fighter backgrounds. I hope Silva keeps boxing and I hope belfort does well so we can see a greater interest in boxing by the millions of Brasilians living in the favelas of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and in the poorer northern states will take an interest in boxing. Brasil is a boxing nation that doesn’t even realise it yet
