Maybe it's just me, but any cruiserweight-sized young athlete should be able to last eight rounds with a 44 year old ex-champ that weighs 155 lbs soaking wet, and not in top condition. Honestly Paul should have been able to hurt Floyd and keep him in trouble wth such large size, weight, and reach advantages. Add in the youth vs age factor and it becomes a mystery why Paul was not able to do significantly more ...

So credit to Mayweather that he pretty much carried the fight ... even with all those disadvantages. Pretty impressive punching a cruiserweight around and forcing him to clinch for much of the fight.

Hopefully this will be the final exhibition by Floyd against big, young guys who should be able to take his head off. As per Logan Paul, if he were in with a current boxer anywhere near his size I think he would be in great trouble. He should have been able to hurt Floyd and trouble him. It's very troubling that he mostly could not.

The only time Floyd has been able to KD or KO a fighter at 147 or above is only when he fights an opponent similar in size to him. If the welters are coming in at 158-164lbs, Floyd won’t stand a chance of KD’ing them. 190lbs? Come on Arum, you underestimate Floyd one day and then overestimate his capabilities another day. As long as the shoe fits. In this case Arum would like to go with the narrative that the fight was fixed. What better way to back your opinion by overestimating what Floyd is capable of?

I was surprised Floyd could push him around at times he is a dam big young bull you would think he could just throw May around like a rag doll, wasn't the case Floyd is very strong for how small he is.

That is not true because Mayweather tried but he was wary as well. Why? Because Paul is much bigger, is fit and strong, yes he can't box that well and is a novice, but can tie one up.

Floyd didn't want to get caught with a big punch, even if it would be a lucky punch.

It was what it was. They came and they got their money, and Paul has one of his life's greatest experiences.

Totally agree with you here.

People keep forgetting that he has been retired for 4 or so years now and is 44 years old.

Logan had a good enough jab, size and reach advantage to make it difficult for Floyd to truly do anything.
Regardless of Paul being new to boxing an 155lb man (one with a history of hand problems), hitting a cruiserweight, would find it hard to truly hurt him.
