Comments Thread For: Team Usyk "Looking Forward To Signing Papers" For Showdown With Anthony Joshua

Talks continue to progress for a heavyweight title fight between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk. Both sides have acknowledged that negotiations are advanced to the point where a purse bid hearing likely won't be necessary to proceed with the event. The WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO title fight is now being targeted for September, with Sky Sports reporting that Tottenham Hotspur Stadium--a 62,850 seat football stadium in North London--is the leading candidate to land the event.

Only if it's fixed. If not, Usyk makes a sap out of AJ.

I’ll be rooting for Olafemi but this is a dangerous fight. Usyk is better than Ruiz

I don't see Usyk having the firepower to keep Joshua off him for 12 rounds boxing wise his skills are superior but size makes a difference and Usyk has not looked good in his 2 fights at heavyweight.

Does he? Since when? Usyk has nothing for Joshua to worry about.

I don't think Usyk can KO Joshua, but I don't think he can win if he does not.
