Boxers are punchers, not fighters. This guy presented something Floyd didn't have a defense for: grappling. It threw him off so much that his brilliant boxing was rendered ineffective.
The superhuman aura of Pro fighters died tonight

Logan outweighed him by 40 pounds and at no point did Mayweather go for the kill.
What is it with this feminized overreacting that’s getting popular amongst y’all?
this was a exhibition match for millions.
Mayweather will take any opportunity to pay the bookies.

There's also a couple of little things like SKILL and TALENT. You can train your ass off in the best gym and have the finest nutritionist in the world. But if you suck, you suck. For so long we have heard how any random bum from your local boxing club would whoop any non boxers ass just because they aren't a boxer.
The greatest boxer of all time just struggled and lost to a random youtuber.
Honestly I still respect boxers but tonight showed anyone can do it as long as they have access to all the training etc.
That's the difference between top boxers and regular Joe's is just access to training and nutrition. I think most college jocks with a years training could whoop probably 80% of Pro boxers out there pretty easily. Obviously not the elite world champions or contenders but anyone below that is nothing special.Comment

You guys are so dumb. Don't you get it, they played us. Do you realise that every single person who placed a bet lost? And that those bets added up to millions! The only betting markets were Mayweather by KO/TKO/DQ, and Logan the same. Just like Tyson vs Jones, Tyson won every round, but it was a draw with two belts at the ready! Because 95% of bets placed were a win either way.
I hear you fools ask now, so why wasn't Mayweather vs Paul a draw? Because Mayweather wouldn't allow it, even in an exhibition. The bottom line - Every single bet placed on last night's fight lost!!! Take that in and reevaluate your opinion.Comment

Floyd really just needed to do the minimum to avoid being stunned and dropped. A good night's work if you can get it
Watching him try to punch hard while floyd was covering.... someone has a GIF of it here... its obvious he really does not know how to punch hard. People may not realize this is at least one reason Floyd could just turtle up and walk away as Paul arm punched into oblivion.

The thing with boxing is that its a niche sport nowadays. Its not that mainstream, most people probably dont know who is the HW champ right now.
A lot of the top athletes go into other sports where there is less risks and more money to be made.
What really is amazing is that MMA has even two fighters. Those guys make PEANUTS.Comment

Bingo.I think you're putting way too much stock on the outcome of an exhibition. In the minds of the casuals you're right because they don't follow the sport or know enough about boxing to assume any athletic guy with no experience can compete with a pro boxer
Judging by Paul's showing last night and his previous fights, he would definitely get lit up by amateur boxers in and around his weight division, let alone journeyman who can take a real punch and are paid to spar top prospects and contenders
This fight exposed one thing, combat sports is chalk full of “fans” that don’t actually understand fighting, quite the eye opener!

It’s embarrassing that people don’t understand the difference between an exhibition event clearly marketed for entertainment, vs an actual sanctioned fight.
It’s actually scary.
Can you imagine if NBA fans were yelling “basketball is dead” if Jordan or some retired player decided to play horse with a celebrity on PPV.
