Comments Thread For: Hearn: Usyk's A Very Tought Fight For Joshua; AJ Must Be Completely Ruthless In That Fight

LAS VEGAS - Eddie Hearn acknowledged Oleksandr Usyk hasn't exactly looked great since he moved up to the heavyweight division. The British promoter still thinks the former undisputed cruiserweight champion would give Anthony Joshua a difficult fight. Assuming Hearn, whose company promotes Joshua and co-promotes Usyk, and Alex Krassyuk, Usyk's other promotional representative, come to an agreement soon, Joshua (24-1, 22 KOs) will make a mandated defense of his WBO heavyweight title versus Ukraine's Usyk (18-0, 13 KOs) late this summer.

But the breaking news on this forum is all about ducking Usyk? That interview leans towards the opposite.

Should be a good test for Joshua it’s a match cos Usyk has has skills and it’s not about size u Just ask Evander Holyfield Who came up to heavy weight

And Joshua seems a lot less comfortable against the shorter fighters.

But to be fair, he's been caught by established heavyweights with decent power and still got the KO. I like his match up but I know regardless, Joshua won't get any credit for beating him.

That's the thing, he lost to Ruiz so everything else he has done is forgotten by haters (not saying you're a hater).

He's had issues with shorter fighters who can tuck up and make themselves even smaller.

Usyk fights very straight up, classic European style, his head is hittable.
