Comments Thread For: Linares: I Look Forward To Once Again Beating One Of Eddie Hearn's Fighters
Jorge Linares is a betting underdog in his title bid versus Devin Haney this weekend, though he likes his odds given the history with his opponent's promoter.

Why is everything becoming so promoter-ized? And why are merrkans so vexed by Eddie Hearn? Do they not realise that when he said he was “taking over America he didn’t mean he was guna sit in the White House and make new laws and pillage the land for its burger meat.
when did it stop actually being about the fighters?

Where do you want me to start? The side deals? The fat boys for AJ? The commission shopping? The unconscionable contracts? The rematches and options? The shocking upsets? That's his upside. He meddles to where it has to be an upset. Eddy is his own show, he loves it.
Linares is justified in his assessment. If Eddy had any faith in Haney, he wouldn't be fooling with Gamboa or Linares, but he doesn't. Linares is fighting Eddy's perception as much as Haney, Eddy hired him to lose.
