Really that makes zero sense. You really think Arum had some elaborate strategy which involved actively trying to lose in arbitration, everyone is talking about Fury Joshua undisputed is how you build Fury Wilder 3, really? Costing his client $50M and himself millions and providing Hearn the opportunity to prove he can make the biggest fight in boxing, only to have it fail apart through Arum's lack of due diligence, this somehow make Arum look good?No shit Sherlock! They played you. You got fucked you over big time. That arbiter works for Team Fury. He's Bob Arum's best friend. The truth is there was never any arbitration to begin with. Those negotiations for Wilder/Fury III was a private and secretive one between the two teams. Team Fury knew several months in advance that they were no longer interested in fighting AJ but they wanted to put the screws to Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua and his fans in order to sabotage and undermine the undisputed fight. I bet that Anthony Joshua fans don't believe that Team Fury are very nice people now do they?
There was no need to bribe a retired judge, Wilder had a rematch clause, Arum could have avoided looking (being) incompetent by just saying Wilder has a rematch clause, end of. No one would claim Fury is avoiding Joshua with a signed rematch clause in place.
If they wanted the Wilder fight (for a quarter the money) they would have taken it, Fury could have claimed Wilder's ridiculous allegations where an insult to travellers worldwide which must be punished, you know actually build the fight.
Arum ****ed it up, big time, its really that simple.Comment

Honestly if Arum has a background in law and actually read the contract with the rematch clause then it should have been clear to him that him losing the arbitration case was at least possible or even likely. It was his side that was crying and complaining every step of the way and it seemed like Hearn was the one doing all the work in getting the fight set up. When the arbitration result came through, Arum basically ditched the fight immediately and somehow the Wilder rematch was already signed, sealed and delivered within what felt like hours of the undisputed fight falling through, and he already had a venue reserved for it. I think this was exactly how Arum wanted it to go, I honestly think he just wanted to create a scenario to embarrass Hearn and waste his time. I sincerely think he operates more on the basis of spite rather than his love of money nowadays, it's the only way to make sense of some of the stuff he does. He's not gonna get a chance to enjoy any money he makes now in addition to what he already has, but to some kinds of people spite and revenge are more precious than money, and that's his real motivation for continuing to run Top Rank in what little time he must have left, to get one over on as many of his rivals as possible before he finally croaks.
When you're on the verge of being 90 years old like him and Don King, you're too old to run a business in a responsible manner. It'd be better for everyone, especially for the fans but even for him, if he retired and just chilled with his money and his family in the few years that he must have left.Comment

I understand you are a little emotional because you have an ideological reason for supporting Fury. But let me help you with something you might have heard of, it's called "Objectivity". Let's begin shall we?
Let's look at last 9 opponents excluding Wilder (full credit to Fury) and Kiltschko (before these both fought journeymen)
FURY Resume:
Excluding Wilder & Klitschko:
Wallin, Schwarz, Pianeta, Seferi, Hammer, Chisora, Abbell, Cunningham, Johnson
Joshua Resume:
Excluding Klitschko:
Pulev, Ruiz x 2, Povetkin, Parker, Takam, Molina, Breazeale, Martin, Whyte
Even if we take the weaker opponents like Molina, Martin, Breazeale - these were all ranked contenders or linked to mandatories. The ONLY contender (and a VERY good one at that) for Fury was Chisora.
Have a little nap and respond when you are a little less emotional. Else continue to backfill your pro-Fury backlog of messages ;-)Comment

Scared doesn't come into it. I'm sure he's not scared of anyone. Probably thinks he can beat anyone too.
But he does avoid certain fights.
The evidence is right there in front of you. Once he's got a belt, he isn't fighting Klitschko, Wilder, or Joshua. Unless a judge enforces it... and even then, he's not yet in the ring v Wilder. There are plenty of months to go in that saga.
From that list, he's ducked two contracted rematches and by far the biggest payday of his life.
You don't even need to think very hard to see it.Comment

didn’t fury actually announce to the world the Joshua fight is signed , sealed delivered on twitter Sunday and if arum , Warren and co were actually saying the arbitration will not make a difference that’s all you can go on...Hearn is not privy to the internal meetings going on and there has to be some sort of trust and honesty when negotiating which obviously on fury’s side there wasn’t it...there is one guy on this site who is quiet at the moment because he knows who is the culprit and he is the biggest cheerleader for fury and that’s denium who after talking to many times has a sense of morals and honesty...he knows
I don’t think this fight ever takes place now and if does it’s quite possible they will never have the career changing purse they would have made in saudi...as it might have burned there bridges with that money train avenue.
fury fancies his chances better with a fighter he can rag doll anytime he wants and then face some low tier heavyweight.
Fury has played everybody
