Comments Thread For: Josh Taylor: I Would Love To Fight Terence Crawford; It's A Massive Fight

LAS VEGAS - Josh Taylor realizes the type of difficult fight that awaits him Saturday night. The Scottish southpaw still can't help but think at times about the opportunities beating Jose Ramirez would create for him later this year. First and foremost, the 30-year-old Taylor would become a potential opponent for Terence Crawford.

With all the things Taylor has been saying and doing this week, I feel like he's really overlooking Ramirez.

Not likely to happen, but if he loses to Ramirez this kind of comment is gonna make him look ******

Just saw the Taylor-Prograis fight again. Taylor could be KOd by Ramirez if he's not careful and also Crawford & Teofimo. Taylor is good but not spectacular.

Nah, he wants no part of Bud.
He already knows his next fight is Catterall.

Arum has a lot to deal with! He has 2 disgruntled fighters on his hands (Bud & Teo), and both want the winner of this fight, and both are ready to jump ship, if he can't get them a BIG fight! Also, the winner is supposed to fight Jack Catterall next, and neither seems excited about that fight! Tough decisions to make for Top Rank!

Good thread. Quality over quantity. This should be a revealing fight. I think Taylor gets a bad rap for being a pillock that he is but I do think he is an above average championship taken abs the beat fighter on the U.K. and the best to come out of I’m quite a while....he should win but this doesnt figure to be an easy fight. If he is impressive than please get him in with the uninspiring Crawford

Crawford vs the winner. That's a good fight. I don't like it from Taylor or Ramirez perspective n at 140 both have compelling match ups. I hate the position Buds in SMFH n remember having felt similar when Pac was with TR, he wasn't getting the big fights either for whatever reason. It's not coincidence because the circumstances are identical! . personally I don't see what TR can offer to convince Bud to extend. I would like to credit TR grooming fighters is second to non n they invest in fighters. Great fighters just seem to outgrow TR. Fighters who've left n publicized their intentions have bn shelved in the past n there's the WBO 147 not leavin TR. Pacs last fight with them there was the controversial decision against Horn. Crawford gotta win by KO next or suffer the same fate

Yes, I don't see Taylor as "spectacular" either. This fight night show us more about how good he actually is but, from what I've seen of him so far, I don't feel he would beat Lopez or Crawford.

In your sig, look at wilder jab. It falls. Then Fury closes the distance. Great great saga. Wilder dropped him twice!!! Can't wait for the 3rd
