I would prefer AJ to win. He's a better role model and better for the sport as he's way more entertaining in the ring - although Fury is way more entertaining outside the ring. We can use the Wlad fights as confirmation of what I'm saying. Fury's build up to the Wlad fight was VERY entertaining but the fight wasn't exciting. A masterclass from Fury maybe, but definitely boring - it certainly would not win new fans to boxing. Conversely the build-up to Wlad vs AJ was boring but the fight was VERY exciting and should/would at least be included in a conversation of best fights in the last 10 years.
Although they are both in their prime, AJ doesn't have the same experience as Fury. Josh is almost caught between 2 styles now and the difference of the five professional fights is important as Joshua is still learning and improving. I thought the Pulev fight showed a merging of his styles and certainly showed glimpses of his previous arrogance and power that makes him an exciting fighter to watch. The extra five fights would see him improve to a level where he beats Fury IMO but at the moment it's the toss of a coin for winner.
This brings me to another point, why are they not fighting more regular? I know covid for the past year has made this difficult but that's only been for a year! Canelo is showing that fighting every 6 months at elite level is possible. If we got more fights, we would be better placed to compare resumes as they couldn't "dodge" each other as readily. The various belts don't help either but that's a different thread!

That's the plan he'll try with Joshua, stink the place out trying to run circles around the ring. Won't work though.
