Regardless of what you yahoos say BJS made a good accounting of himself. A lot of you would have laughed if someone told you BJS goes 8 rounds.
If you think Saunders was winning or was even in that fight

It's based on common sense and the logic I broke down in that same post you quoted. 1 time out of 10 in a fight, the guy on the back foot will be in control, and will be a skilled counterpuncher who gives better than he gets. 9/10 times, the guy on the back foot is there for a reason, and it's because he is outmatched and trying to evade the better, stronger fighter. This is true in boxing, in mma, in a street fight, etc.
Haha, based on what stats? Canelo has boxed off the backfoot for 80% off his career. Mayweather has boxed off the backfoot for vast majority of his career.
Maybe if it's a mismatch and 1 guy is a no chancer so he always retreats, but in an even boxing fight, this is not true.
I had this 5-3. Saunders did well in spurts, but lost concentration too many times, and started ducking his head WAYY too much. Even I saw that uppercut coming, Reynoso probably had it drawn up in the gym 2 months ago.Comment

Scoring is irrelevant unless the fight ends in controversy. Saunders looked like a light heavy weight and Canelo looks like a middleweight, but the fight is 12 rounds and that is a long time to back pedal and not land any punches of significance. Canelo was relaxed and Saunders was getting losing confidence as he realized he could not hurt Canelo unless he met him in the center of the ring and that was not going to happen.Comment

He needed to get at least 1-2 of those first rounds and then come back once he caught a rhythm and get the rounds he actually did win. Even with not winning those early rounds, seemed like most thought he did work himself into the fight and maybe got some momentum, but only momentarily it turns out. I wished it continued, it was pretty good but Canelo broke his face what can be said. KO
I think Froch gave him the 1st but I don't think he got 1 or 2, pretty tough at that point even though he did catch the rhythm I was expecting/hoping to see to make it one of those ebb and flow fights. it kind got there but not all the way, DAMN. still enjoyed it, credit to Canelo I wanted to see this fight -seems like he will get to most peoples wish list one at a time.Comment

It don't matter in the end BJS could not continue because a PUNCH from Canelo Broke his Eye SocketComment
