Man, if anything, he deserves more props for winning while on weed.

Give him another title, the green WBC belt

Tattoo then weed...I love Japan. I got my masters there, brought my family a couple of times for a vacation. Wonderful place and very courteous people...

But of there will be some "oddities" in their culture....if the "boss" doesnt like you, it will be like forever...and it seems like it for Ioka

It’s shocking and if it’s true his career is on ice

He tested positive for Weed. From what I heard the cops got called and his place got searched (5-10 year sentence as you know for possession, but he didn't have anything) but I expect the JBC to come down hard.

I didn't hear anything about meth though.

Wow!!! Meth cost about 150 bucks 7/10ths of a gram, weed is astronomical prices...

this B level actriz/**** star ran to the Philippines once her manager tested positive for weed, meth residue was found in her apartment

she had to admit on tv she was a drug user and now she works as a pole dancer selling her azz...

Yeah, I remember reading about a Japanese actress who was caught with pot and it completely destroyed her career. People say we need to respect Japanese culture on this one, but this actually has nothing to do with Japanese culture. Japan only made cannabis illegal after WW2 during the American occupation of Japan. The weed thing is nothing like the tattoo thing (which will also likely change a bit once the older generation is gone. Most Japanese nationals know the difference between a tattoo and a yakuza tattoo at this point anyways)

He should've left Japan yrs ago, they are a disgrace to human rights. Yes testing positive in Japan can lead to yrs in prison,& the police are allowed to interrogate you for 16 hrs a day every single day until you plead guilty. I would never want to step foot in Japan despite my love for japanology.
