Rather than announce a fight at a time, Showtime let fans and subscribers know exactly what to expect for a sustained period of time and left the ball in the court of the rest of boxing's broadcast and streaming arms to deliver their goods.

154 is fun to watch because there are some characters and guys willing to fight

BUT 154 is average AT BEST, none of these guys are elite in my book, even Mell who is the best of the lot and a true warrior.

Once Bud, Spence or Ennis move up those light middleweight are in trouble.

They are all good, competitive fights. Not that sparring is the end all be all, but Spence supposedly gets the better of Charlo when they spar....Even confirmed by some folks in the UK when they watched them spar before Spence fought Brook. But put on 10 oz gloves and things can/will change.

Would absolutely love to see a Rigo vs Donaire 2 for one half of the straps. Dont really need the belts but it does add some sauce. But they gotta take care of biz first against Casimero and oubaali, which may be too much to ask for at their ages.

I see a weak schedule tbh. Other than Mell/Castano, them fights are only OK, nothing to there to truly get excited about. The Davis fight is the 2nd best of the bunch, but I dont wanna hear about him being a 140lb champ if he wins cause thats straight up bs. We all know who the champs are (taylor/ramirez).
