  • Comments Thread For: Tony Harrison, Bryant Perrella Fight To 12-Round Draw In Los Angeles

Tony Harrison and Bryant Perrella were both in search of a fresh start and a return to the win column. Neither one would get their wish. The main event of the latest edition of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on Fox saw Harrison and Perrella fight to a 12-round split decision draw. Judge Max DeLuca had the bout 116-112 Harrison, while Dr. Lou Moret scored the contest 117-111 in favor Perrella. Judge Zachary Young saw the fight 114-114, producing a stalemate in the junior middleweight bout Saturday evening at Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles.

The bout marks Harrison's first training camp since the passing of his father and trainer Ali Salaam.

Also, Harrison returns to the ring for the first time since his championship rematch against Jermell Charlo in December 2019 on FOX. Despite the significant layoff, Harrison is aware of the adjustments he’ll need to make returning to the ring and doesn’t believe it will deter him on fight night.

Perrella usually brings it, but I think Harrison out boxes him to a clear decision.

          War Nicholson!

Somehow this is a WBA eliminator between 10-0 Apochi and 14-0 Nicholson
