Deserve -hmmm. Strange word- like someone is entitled to something. He's a pro fighter. What he needs to to is make as much money as he can from his short career and sounds like he'll make a lot more money with Triller fighting a low risk fighter than he possibly made in a high risk match-up with Josh Taylor.

Lets say he deserves to be headlining. How much money will he make headlining against Redkach? Boxing is in a bad spot right now with the pandemic - fights not getting made cos there's not enough money to satisfy fighters who pre-pandemic were making millions for fighting low risk fights. Times have changed.

I hope Triller does help to revitalise boxing. I'm sceptical that these gimmick you tuber fights are the way to do it, but nevertheless I wish Triller all the best.

Triller might help boxing in the future but so far they haven't put together any fights featuring elite boxers facing each other. Mostly old men or youtubers. They got the Teo fight which is a big deal but they didn't 'make' the fight, it was already going to happen they just outbid the competition. We saw the 'these guys are gonna save boxing by spending big money' claim with DAZN a couple of years ago and with PBC a couple of years before that. Didn't work out.

10-12 years ago it was HBO vs Showtime. Almost all top fighters were either with Arum or GBP. All the money spent since then by various companies but none of it has improved how often the best face each other, and refusal to 'cross the street' is even more common now because there are more TV companies/streaming apps involved and more promotional companies
