Comments Thread For: Whyte: It's Time Eddie Hearn Gets Me An Easy Fight & I Can Make Some Damn Money!

Dillian Whyte has accepted a lot of risky fights during his well-documented, frustrating pursuit of a heavyweight title shot. Now that the London-based contender has avenged his knockout loss to Alexander Povetkin, Whyte wants a gimme. The WBC interim heavyweight champion called for a low-risk, high-reward opportunity as he stood alongside promoter Eddie Hearn on Saturday night in Gibraltar.

Now, this is would be the perfect fight for Wilder. He needs this more than White do.

Difficult place to be in. In all reality Wilder is probably next in line for the WBC.... hard to see the WBC not calling that. Wilder-Whyte is obviously what should happen next, but Wilder is a ****less nutcase who won't even fight Charles Martin.

An easy fight? Whyte wants Hearn to get him an easy fight? Povetkin was totally shot for the rematch; however, Whyte now wants an easy match. Just how hard did Povetkin hit Whyte in August? Better yet, Whyte wants a big money easy fight. This is amazing. And it's outrageous. Maybe Hearn/Whyte ought to approach Jake Paul for a match. That ought to be both easy and big money. The only question is if it will be easy enough/big enough for Whyte.

Hard to call Wilder a mando for the title when they already have Whyte as interim.
WBC will do what Haymon & Wilder want. If they wanna fight Whyte, WBC will make him mando to Whyte's interim despite Whyte not being the reason for not fighting the champ as it was in lil Garcia's case.
If not, Wilder won't be called Whyte's mando.

Whyte has earned a gimme. No more Covid powered opponents. Find a polio stricken foe next. Cmon Eddie!

Good advice would be to get a day job in the mean time. These promoters aren't wasting their time on low gates. But they're wasting your time. Boxers only have so many years, y'know?

What? An old and drunken Povetkin with covid isn't easy enough?

Whyte can't complain about Eddie. Eddie has payed off judges, the refs, the bbbc and threatened UKAD with legal action. He even made Whyte's gloves tampering scandal disappear. Whyte is so ungrateful LOL.
