Fully agree on Choc vs Estrada. I actually had a bet on Choc and the draw. He was robbed. I had it 116-112, I could see 115-113, as you say, you really have to give Estrada EVERYTHING for a draw, a win! No way. It was an absolute robbery. Close fights can be robberies when the winner is clear. You could tell that Estrada knew that he had lost that fight. I don't want a third, as Choc will get robbed again.

If Hagler had been champion in this era he would have never lost a fight and would have grinder up any jr middle to super middle on the planet

100% agree about the growing stale part. D. Garcia was at his best when he was fighting dogs back in 12-13 then he started fighting too many gimme's. And I used to just say well he fights up or DOWN to his competition... Same with Thurman one day all that inactivity well come back and bite him in the ass.

Saunders always canceling fights and fighting BUMS is gonna get him destroyed in the Canelo fight.

Good breakdown of Hagler’s career and describing him as “honest”. Meaning he often fought in hostile territory and if there was a close or competitive win, he ran it back. Too many guys these days try to stack the deck in their favor, only fight where they know they’ll get the benefit of the doubt and take controversial wins and run with it. Speaking of controversy, Choc got screwed and fighting a Mexican in Texas is the main reason why which unfortunately goes as far back as Chavez vs Whitaker.
