Middleweight contender Michael Zerafa is a little shocked by the negative outcry in the aftermath of his recent fight with former world champion Anthony Mundine. Coming in to their fight at Bendingo Stadium last Saturday night, Mundine had lost two fights in a row - including a first round knockout defeat at the hands of Jeff Horn.

Zerafa must be a bit dim, the reason why no-one wants to fight him is that he has nothing to offer but is still a danger. Instead of complaining he needs to go to the US and arrange some fights there if he thinks that he is good enough, Oz is a small pond and obviously not big enough to sustain a full time pro boxing scene.

Well the negative press is because Mundine is old, done and shouldn’t be given a chance to fight anymore (Even if he wants to), but I don’t blame Zefara - That is the job of the licensing boxing committee. Take away Mundine’s boxing license in Australia/oceanic and don’t allow him to suffer anymore damage. The lure of his name on these boxers record, plus the money he gets paid would make him keep fighting.
