Comments Thread For: Team Canelo: We Are Honored To Bring Big Time Boxing Back To Miami

It's been more than 12 years since Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez's lone other ring appearance in Miami, though the city has always held a special place in the hearts of the fighter and his team. Guadalajara's Alvarez (54-1-2, 36KOs) hits South Beach as the sport's reigning pound-for-pound king and unified WBC/WBA super middleweight titlist. All of that is at stake in this weekend's clash with mandatory challenger Avni Yildirim (21-2, 12KOs), which airs live on DAZN from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Jake is a P4P #1 ******grapher. What he is referring to by “2018” is subtextualizing the rise of LDBC channels because of Wilderism. He specifically made the article for posters like OldskoolG whom paraded to protect the LDBC on this forum. He’s a pro innit!

PBC should do a Miami show with King King Ortiz, Erislandy Lara, and Rigo, all on one card! Lara vs. Lubin would be a perfect headliner! MAN UP!

Ahhh big time boxing equals canelo vs a 50-1 underdog. More like big time mismatch/money grab.

Have you seen who GGG just fought? Look who Bivol, Andrade, Bieterbiev, Dirrell are fighting next. Even worse then this guy except maybe for Andrade but Williams ain't saying much. I mean Canelo bodied the guy who beat him but carry on.... Who's your favorite active boxer? Can't wait see that BIG resume tough fights everytime....

what does any of that have to do with canelo saying that him fighting this nobody that hasn’t fought in two years, lost his last fight and is a 50-1 underdog is “big time boxing”? I’ve noticed the worst enemy of you canelo fans is staying on topic. All you clowns do is bring up every other boxer but can never effectively defend canelo. Stick to the subject goofball.

This feels like when Delahoya fought Charpentier in El Paso or when Chavez Sr fought Terrance Ali. Nothing more than a tune up before the big fight. Big fight weekend will be in May and September.

I swear you imbeciles are never satisfied. Canelo needs to be fighting killer after killer, can't take a tune-up. Meanwhile you same imbeciles crying about this one will stay quiet about Bivol fighting a nobody, Andrade fighting a nobody, GGG fighting his fourth cab driver in a row.
