All of you who think that White is "picking a fight", you all are funny. Dana has places booked way in advance and every has just found out some of the undercard today.
Also, no matter how much Dana stacks the cards, his England shows are the weakest in numbers. This is due to the sports bars being idiots and play the live feed at 3 in the afternoon rather then the replay at ten at night.
PAC/Cotto would be winning the day even if they were competing.Originally posted by bukakke View PostDana isn't picking a fight with anyone, hes had that date set before Cotto/Pac was set. If Dana wanted to hurt them he would just schedule the Lesnar/Carwin fight for the same night as Pac/Cotto, that would devastated Pac/Cotto's numbers.
The reason Dana has the free TV card is to promote Lasnar/Carwin which is a week later. There is no vengeance behind Dana's move.
Really, I don't know why any of you guys are worrying.

UFC's date and place for their PPVs were booked way way ahead of time.
Way before mayeather "injured" his ribs and WAY way before pacman and cotto start debating over the 2 pounds of bodyweight, belt or even the fight itself.
if a side should be pointed for trying to go head to head, it is boxing.

With a schedule like this, how can you complain as a fight fan? September 19 features the double-dip with UFC 103 battling the Floyd Mayweather pay-per-view. Now November is going to feature two more MMA versus boxing showdowns. On November 14 the UFC is going to give fans a free look at one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the world, B.J. Penn.
Penn is going to headline the Manchester, England card defending his UFC lightweight title against Diego Sanchez. That same night boxing rolls out its pound-for-pound king, Manny Pacquiao against Miguel Cotto. Dana White told Cagewriter there was only one boxer he's feared battling head-to-head and that was Oscar De La Hoya. He mentioned Pacman is the only other guy that he'd would have second thoughts about counterprogramming. Apparently, he doesn't fear Pacquiao that much. The card should air on ****e TV.
UPDATE: UFC sources say the Penn-Sanchez fight isn't finalized for UFC 105. The other option is Dan Henderson versus Anderson Silva in the U.K.
Don't forget UFC just added Brock Lesnar versus Shane Carwin on November 21 at UFC 106. That night looks like the likely landing place for the rescheduled Paul Williams-Kelly Pavlik fight. That's if Williams' promoter Dan Goosen agrees to the date. There are stroing indications that the fight could be pushed back into early Decemeber. It'll still mean that the boxing card will face UFC card. The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale card, potentially featuring a Kimbo Slice fight, is on December 5 and UFC 107 is on December 12 in Memphis.

Further, the MMA poster with the sig video of the guy straddling the other guy is the reason I don't watch MMA. That looks gay as ****! If you don't think rubbing your nuts on another dude is gay.......then you might be gay as hell too.
