My forum stats are alarmingly similar to yours.

Also I agree that Arreola is a dead man. However, I disagree Haye was wrong to pull out against Wladamir - if he wasn't going to get paid - **** it. Pulling out against Vitali was a ***** move though.

No more than Vitali screwed Valuev over in pulling out of that fight when negotiations were well advanced. In neither case were they completed and a contract signed. And Vitali was getting much better terms from Valuev than he was offering Haye.

As you say, though, it all worked out pretty well in the end for everybody. And who here really thinks that Haye. v. Vitali won't happen in 2010? The only difference is that Haye will have more to bring to the table, and hence get a bigger slice of the pie. IF, of course, he beats Valuev. If he doesn't, lets hope he just quietly disappears into a promotion career.

Haye probably was a bit scared. But bottom line is he still wants to fight Vitali and his bro further down the line. Haye wanted to test himself against someone like valuev first to convince himself if he really has it in him.

If haye beats Valuev, then skys the limit. I cant see vitali not wanting Haye.

Haye didn’t actually pull out of a fight with Vitali as he never even signed a contract, he had 2 offers on the table and chose Valuev as it was a better offer for him and an easier title to win.

its still a b*tch move to talk all that **** and then back out of one fight and turn down another.... if you're gonna talk the talk then walk the walk.... if he was so sure he could beat VK, then beat him and fight valuev in a unification for even more money....

in the end, he ran his mouth but didnt wanna back it up when he got his chance

Haye had a verbal agreement with Vitali, Golden Boy, and HBO.

Gentlemans' agreements often take place in business, but the low-class Haye is no gentleman. The HBO executive was not happy when Haye backed out without letting them know.

Davros, you always defend Haye whether he's right or wrong, because of your feelings for him. :*******:
