I think this is a winnable fight for JMM despite what a lot of people think. Part of my brain is saying that Floyd will beat him on a controversial decision, but if JMM comes in with a good game plan he can pull out the victory.

So, Mayweather fighting Oscar at 154 was not a risk, but Pacquiao fighting Oscar two years later at 147 was a huge risk.

Floyd hasn't fought in almost two years. If Marquez can't beat THIS VERSION of Mayweather, then that either a) doesn't say much about JMM's ability, or b) further cements FMJ's greatness.

Keep in mind that Floyd is also fighting above his best weights. Have any of you really been impressed with Floyd's work at 147? IMO, Mayweather's best days were at 140 and below.

Do you really think Cotto is the underdog? Cotto is definitely certified by his past competition. He can adjust. Pac looked good against DLH but he was not a top 5 WW. Cotto has taught them all a lesson. Even in his loss to Margs he looked like a superb boxer puncher. I couldnt imagine Pac in a ring with ww's like PWill and Margs.

Pac is not getting in the ring with Williams or Margarito, hes getting in the ring with Cotto who gets hit more then hookers. this fight is a wrap, that doesnt mean Cotto is garbage because hes not, hes a great fighter, he just cant beat the best boxer in the world, thats all.

JMM is going to hit Floyd with a punch he doesn't see coming and Floyd will get put away for the evening shortly afterwards. I think JMM has the skills to upset Floyd. Floyd is a heavy favorite for too many reasons but I think it would be great for boxing and Mexico if Mayweather were to fall at the hands of someone like Juan Manuel Marquez.
